Decisions have consequences - some which are known immediately while others lie far ahead. What better place to learn that truth than on the chessboard with Laker friends as opponents? Students in Gr. 1-5 learn different strategies as they play against each other. And about those decisions...they incite reactions that require responses, i.e. more decisions, making chess not only a forward, backward and lateral game but also a full circle.
